Coveo Academy Is Now Coveo Level Up

Coveo first launched Coveo Academy in 2016 as a response to meets their customers’ and partners’ demands for a new way to increase their skills with Coveo, in a way that fits their busy lifestyles and workdays. Once a user subscribes to Coveo Academy they can register for an unlimited number of on-demand classes covering a wide range of Coveo related topics, from a foundation platform administration course to more in-depth development courses about indexing customizations and more.

Coveo recently announced that they will be officially phasing out Coveo Academy as of October 15, 2021 and will switch to Level Up a new and improved learning platform which will allow users for self-directed online learning. Signing up is free, and users can select the courses they would like to take in any order.

Level Up!

According to Coveo, the new Level Up platform will offer users:

• Self-directed online learning to take you from beginner to expert
• Live instructor-led events providing invaluable interactions with Coveo experts
• One-click test org creation so you can practice hands-on as you learn
• Clear learning paths based on skills and full learning roadmaps
• Two levels of Coveo Developer Certifications, with more specializations to come

While the old Coveo Academy gave users "badges" when they completed a course to share in social media, or share with co-workers, the new Level Up platform seems to have taken this a step further. Developers - or people who want to learn more about Coveo's capabilities - can upskill and earn certifications through a personalized and gamified experience. As seen in the screen below, users can now collect points based on the courses they complete, and eventually badges too when they complete a full skill path.

 

Coveo clearly understands that training their customers is critical to their own success. The new and improved Level Up platform is a step towards the right direction, where Coveo developers will have the flexibility to learn at their own pace, join live events or get hands-on experience with a Coveo expert.
