Tourism Saskatchewan is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation that promotes Saskatchewan as a tourism destination through marketing and the development of sustainable and culturally diverse tourism experiences.
While Tourism Saskatchewan focuses mainly on promoting the province to visitors, they also provide education and training, support and other resources to the five industries that make up the Saskatchewan tourism sector: Accommodation, food and beverage, travel services, transportation, and recreation and entertainment.
Operators of those industries can receive business support, training, resources and tools on the Tourism Saskatchewan industry website, all of which are designed to train, upskill and support industry operators to push the Saskatchewan Tourism industry forward.

To help promote activities and tourism businesses, Fishtank developed a search solution on the Tourism Saskatchewan website that allows visitors to easily find activities to do in Saskatchewan, while also promoting Saskatchewan businesses.
SharePoint Integration
To make the indexing as easy as possible for both Tourism Saskatchewan and tourism operators, Fishtank integrated the search solution with SharePoint where the tourism operator information is stored and indexed.
TripAdvisor Integration
Fishtank integrated the search solution with TripAdvisor to display TripAdvisor traveler ratings for each search result. This allows visitors to compare ratings of different tourism operators, hotels and restaurants without leaving the Tourism Saskatchewan website.

Advanced filtering and sorting allows visitors to quickly and easily find an operator for their very specific needs including food, drink and entertainment, accommodation, shopping, history, heritage and culture and more.
